Chiropractic Care

Pediatric Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a safe, non-invasive approach that encourages proper function and development. The adjustment given to a child is very gently. The pressure used in the adjustment for an infant is the same amount of pressure used to access the ripeness of a tomato. Chiropractic care for children is important due to how quickly children grow and develop. Pediatric Chiropractors detect and correct interference to the nervous system. which when not corrected can lead to symptoms such as:

  • colic

  • constipation

  • trouble breastfeeding

  • acid reflux

  • ear infections

  • sleep difficulties

  • allergies

  • and more!

Chiropractic for pain relief

Chiropractic is most commonly known for its ability to relieve low back pain. Pain is often a late symptom of a spinal subluxation. A spinal subluxation is a joint that is not moving properly and is irritating the nervous system, sending improper information to the brain. This then can result in changes in posture, increased inflammation, and increased release of stress hormones. If not corrected, pain and degeneration occurs. Other conditions that chiropractic can help with include:

  • headaches

  • sciatica

  • carpal tunnel

  • neck pain

  • and more!

Kinesiology Tape

Kinesiology Tape works by increasing proprioceptive activity to the body part being taped. Proprioceptive activity is your brain’s awareness of that body part in space. This allows your brain to more quickly and easily detect damage and stress placed on the body.

Kinesiology Tape can be helpful in:

  • decreasing swelling

  • providing stability to a joint

  • decreasing muscle tension

  • activating hypotonic muscles

  • providing support to pregnant moms
